TALKS
Talks are on Thursdays from 7.30pm in the Memorial Hall or on Zoom while restrictions apply.
Zoom invitations are sent to all members two days before the event.
21 January – 'A Walk Through the Past'

18 February – 'Helping The Honeybee'

21 October – AGM followed by 'Earthworms', talk by David Knight
David Knight studied earthworms and composting for his PhD and has remained fascinated by earthworms ever since. He is a past director of Northumberland Wildlife Trust and and is currently a trustee for the Wild Oxfordshire Charity.
18 November – Wreath-making workshop with Adam Prest
Following on from Adam's very popular and entertaining demonstration in 2019.
9 December – Members Christmas Social - REGRETTABLY CANCELLED
At our last meeting, the committee unanimously agreed to postpone the December social to Spring 2022 in light of the high COVID numbers in the area and the concerns regarding suitable levels of ventilation in a winter event.

Spring Show – Saturday 24th April (in association with Arts Society) - CANCELLED
We had decided to follow Chelsea’s lead and postpone our Spring Show until the Autumn.
Now sadly after a long discussion and detailed risk assessment we have also taken the decision to cancel the Annual and Flower Show. But please see the link below for alternatives.

OUTINGS
Sunday 27 June (2pm to 4.30pm) – Self-drive visit to FarmED, Honeydale Farm near Shipton, led by Emma Harris-Bass
Wednesday 14 July (1.30pm to 4pm) – Self-drive visit to the Old Rectory, Quenington, near Fairford, Gloucestershire
Thursday 2 September (6pm to 8pm) – Open Evening at Bunkers Hill Nursery

Plant & Seed Swop – Playing Close, Saturday 15th May – 10 am (postponed from the 8th May due to inclement weather)
Charlbury Open Gardens – POSTPONED until 2022, when we are hoping for a wonderful Open Gardens Day with a flourish!
Coffee & Cake Morning & Plant Swop – Memorial Hall/Corner House Garden – Saturday 2nd October – 9.30 am to 12 noon
Best Cultivated Allotment
The Wilson-Lade Cup will again be awarded to the holder of the best cultivated allotment. Judging may take place at any time during the growing season.
