Glyme Valley SSSI Guided Walk

We are delighted to welcome back Craig Blackwell to host a guided circular nature walk through the Glyme Valley SSSI on Saturday 2nd July. His talk on Wildflowers of the Cotswolds back in March was hugely enjoyable and we are very fortunate to be able to benefit from his expertise again, out in the beautiful countryside.

The circular walk will be around 2 hours covering 3-4 miles, stopping to notice the wildflowers along the way. The route goes through Glyme Farm and its species-rich limestone grassland, along green lanes and ending up in Over Norton Park before returning to Chipping Norton.

We will depart promptly from the Chipping Norton Leisure Centre car park at 2pm.

The cost per attendee is just £2, payable in cash on the day.

Spaces will be strictly limited to 20. To reserve your place, please email membership@charlburygardensociety.org.uk. We'd like to encourage car sharing where possible, so please indicate if you might need a lift, or conversely if you could offer a lift, and how many spaces you can offer. We will try and match drivers with those who require a lift.
